Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sean Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxi Marin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Maxi Marin! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Silva. Silva dives in and grabs Marin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Marin pushes down on Silva's head and hops out. No luck for Silva with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Marin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Marin taking a breather here. Marin decides to take the fight back to the feet. Marin darts in and clinches Silva up against the cage. Marin has Silva pressed against the cage, preventing Silva from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Marin holding his opponent close, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Marin lands with a light punch inside. Marin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Silva tries to clinch and Marin moves into the clinch. Marin putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Silva in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Marin has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Silva clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Marin is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Marin gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Marin gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Marin apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Silva leaves Marin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Silva is breathing heavily. Marin circles away from the clinch attempt and Marin counters with a big head kick but Silva shrugs it off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes. Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Marin counters with a big head kick but Silva shrugs it off. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marin dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Marin's head and hops out. Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown and Marin counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Silva is lucky that one didn't land flush. Marin connects with a nice looking jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silva is defended easily by Marin. Marin slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marin fails with a takedown attempt. Marin checks a low kick from Silva. Marin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Silva tries to clinch but Marin moves away and Marin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Marin tries to pass to full mount but Silva defends it. Silva is trying to control but can't.
Silva might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marin wants to pass the guard but Silva is defending well. Silva is looking to control Marin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted? Marin prevents Silva from improving his position. Silva is trying to stand back up but Marin is controlling him
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Silva on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Silva tries to get out of the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maxi Marin dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Marin swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva. Marin takes the fight into the clinch. Silva is trying to stall.

Marin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Marin looking to throw knees to the head but Silva is blocking nicely.
Silva drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Marin gets the underhooks and prevents it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva jumps guard but Marin stands there with Silva around his waist. Silva gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Silva pulls Marin in close to his closed guard and prevents Marin from doing any damage or advancing position. Marin postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Marin defends it easily. Marin is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Silva is trying to control the position but Marin postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva is looking for a triangle but Marin pushes his legs off easily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Marin misses the shot to the body. Silva throws a head kick but Marin moves out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Marin's waist but Marin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side. Silva dips to his left and cracks Marin with an uppercut! Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Marin drives through with a takedown into guard. Marin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Marin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maxi Marin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Maxi Marin has got the better of the ground game so far. Marin trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Silva looking for a sweep. Not yet Silva, not yet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Silva tries to clinch but Marin moves away and Marin counters by moving into the clinch. Silva fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Silva has Marin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Marin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Silva tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marin smiles and moves away.
Marin darts in and clinches Silva up against the cage. Silva tries to work over Marin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Silva is trying to force a seperation but Marin has the dominant position. Silva stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Marin avoiding damage as Silva throws knees to the body.
Silva can't break the clinch.
Silva is trying to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marin prevents Silva from breaking the clinch. Silva with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Silva tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Marin just stands there and leans against the cage. Silva jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marin walks away with a smile on his face. Silva gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Marin stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet. Marin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side. Silva slaps away a takedown attempt from Marin, before circling back to the center of the mat. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silva is looking to clinch. Sean Silva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Maxi Marin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Maxi Marin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Marin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
