Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vladmir Lenin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milton Vessey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lenin comes to the cage accompanied by Soviet National Anthem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vladmir Lenin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Milton Vessey! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vessey slips under a jab from Lenin. Vladmir Lenin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vessey lands with an uppercut that bounces Lenin off the cage and back into rage. Vessey swings for the body but Lenin moves out of range.
Lenin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Vessey squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Vessey is desperately trying to improve his position but Lenin has a good base and remains in mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vessey tries to hold on but Lenin postures up. Lenin throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Vessey because Lenin loaded up on that one. Vessey is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Lenin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Poor strikes thrown by Lenin there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Vessey is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Vessey is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Lenin is staying active. Vessey is trying desperately to improve position. Vessey avoids a series of strikes thrown by Lenin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vessey is desperately trying to improve his position but Lenin has a good base and remains in mount. Vessey wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Lenin.
Lenin throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Lenin has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Vessey's face.
Lenin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vessey is looking to escape. Lenin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Lenin with the ground and pound from mount. Vessey tries to buck Lenin off but he can't manage it. Lenin putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Lenin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Vessey keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lenin looking to control but Vessey is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Vessey wants to hold on but Lenin pushes him away. Vessey is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Lenin is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Vessey can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Lenin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lenin throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Vessey looks gassed! Lenin breaks from Vessey's wrist control and lands an elbow. Vessey wants to hold on but Lenin pushes him away. Lenin lands with some strikes. Lenin landing strikes from the mount and Vessey is in trouble! Lenin working Vessey over with strikes here. Lenin with a couple of short strikes. Vessey holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Lenin tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Vessey wants to control but Lenin is having none of it. Lenin wants to control the pace but Vessey is squirming around nicely. Lenin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Lenin putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Lenin controlling his opponent. Vessey is working to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lenin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vladmir Lenin dominated that round. That's time! Lenin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vessey. Lenin does a little dance to reset his feet. Lenin closes the distance and clinches up with Vessey, looking for a takedown. Lenin pushes Vessey against the cage but Vessey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lenin misses with a double jab.
Lenin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vessey.
Lenin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vessey finds it's way round the side to connect with Lenin's head. Lenin tries to clinch but Vessey moves out of range. Lenin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vessey swivels and escapes. Vessey misses with a hook. Lenin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lenin there as he acknowledges the shot. Lenin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vessey. Vessey ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Vessey lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Vessey misses with a wild body shot. Vessey misses the jab. Lenin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladmir Lenin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lenin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lenin fails with a takedown attempt. Vessey connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lenin momentarily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vessey misses with a straight right. Lenin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Lenin defending well as Vessey loads up on a big left hand. Vessey tests Lenin's chin there with a solid looking shot. Milton Vessey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vessey changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Vessey loads up on a big right hand but Lenin slips the punch. Vessey clobbers Lenin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Lenin tries for a takedown but Vessey sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Vessey scores with a jab. Lenin acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Lenin looks for a takedown but Vessey sprawls well. Vladmir Lenin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lenin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vessey misses with a hook. Vessey throws a jab but it's blocked by Lenin. Vessey connects with a body shot. Vessey throws a right hand that Lenin ducks under and follows up with a left that Lenin also avoids with ease. Lenin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vessey pinned against the cage. Vessey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Vessey connects with a single shot there. A right-left combo lands from Vessey. Vessey tests Lenin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lenin is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Vessey cracks Lenin with a right hand to the side of the head. Oh Lenin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A jab from Vessey misses. Lenin takes a swing at Vessey's ribcage but misses. Lenin seems to have got his legs back now. Vessey lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Vessey. Vessey lands a jab to Lenin's midsection.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vessey fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lenin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Vessey cracks a nice hook into Lenin's ribs. Lenin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Vessey connects with a body shot. Vessey scores with a body shot.
Vessey scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Vessey punishes Lenin's body with a nice straight punch. Nice cross by Vessey. Vessey lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Vessey's corner calls for a 1-2. Vessey obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Vessey connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lenin's hands. Lenin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vessey at a distance.
Lenin misses with a wild body shot. Vessey listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Vessey digs a good hook to Lenin's body.
Vessey connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lenin gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lenin blocks a jab. Vessey throws a series of punches but Lenin moves out of range. Vessey misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lenin.
Lenin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vessey avoids it really well and circles away. Vessey throws the left hand but Lenin avoids the punch easily. Vessey lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
A jab from Vessey misses. Vessey throws a shot to the body.
Lenin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vessey. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vessey stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Lenin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vessey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lenin somewhat. Vessey tests Lenin's chin there with a solid looking shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Milton Vessey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Vessey moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Vessey fails to land with a series of punches.
Vessey defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lenin. Lenin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vessey but Vessey pushes him off and we're back to square one. Vessey lands a nice looking body shot.
Vessey with a hook. Lenin takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Vessey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lenin. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladmir Lenin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vessey misses with a looping right. Vessey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vessey wants it to stay on the feet. Vessey connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lenin momentarily.

Lenin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vessey. Vessey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lenin. Vessey paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Lenin drops his hands momentarily and Vessey takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Lenin tries to clinch there but Vessey circles away.
Vessey connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lenin's hands. Nice jab there from Vessey. Vessey lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Vessey lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Lenin can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Vessey and Lenin drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Vessey.
