Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaewkwan Plumuk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Okada! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plumuk displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Okada. Okada tries to close the distance and clinch up but Plumuk swats him away and circles back towards the center. Okada throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Plumuk's waist but Plumuk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Okada off to one side. A left and a right from Plumuk both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Akira Okada has been cut. The fight stays on the outside here - Okada looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Okada tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Okada tries to score a power double leg takedown but Plumuk sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Okada somewhat. Kaewkwan Plumuk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akira Okada. Okada throws a leg kick and Plumuk counters with an inside leg kick. Okada misses with a takedown and Plumuk counters with a series of strikes. Okada will be more careful next time no doubt. Okada shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Plumuk counters with an inside leg kick. Okada looks gassed! Plumuk drops Okada with a beautiful combination! Okada stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Plumuk is looking for the KO!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Okada fails with the takedown and Plumuk counters with a one-two to the body.

That has opened up Akira Okada's cut even more. Okada chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Plumuk can pounce on him.
Okada shoots and misses and Plumuk counters with an inside leg kick. Plumuk misses with the combination.
Okada with a poor takedown and Okada takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kaewkwan Plumuk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plumuk lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Plumuk is working the combinations to good effect here. Okada tries to clinch but Plumuk moves out of range. Okada shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Plumuk counters with a lovely straight right hand! Plumuk misses with a few strikes there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Okada fails with the takedown and Plumuk counters with a nice leg kick. Plumuk feints and then cracks Okada's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Okada down. Plumuk lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Okada circles away quickly and effectively. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Okada throws a leg kick and Plumuk counters with an outside leg kick.
Okada doesn't succeed with the takedown and Plumuk counters with an inside leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kaewkwan Plumuk dominated that round. The cut man is working on Akira Okada's cut. That's time! Plumuk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Plumuk lands with an overhand left. An inside leg kick lands from Plumuk. Plumuk scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The cut above Akira Okada's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Plumuk feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Okada's calf. Okada shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Plumuk counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plumuk lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Okada shoots and misses and Plumuk counters with a left and a right that stings Okada. Plumuk buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Plumuk throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Okada is still on wobbly legs! Can Plumuk finish him? Okada fails to land the takedown. Okada seems to have recovered his senses. Kaewkwan Plumuk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akira Okada.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Plumuk throws a nice outside leg kick. Okada takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Plumuk keeps the fight on the outside. Akira Okada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Okada throws a lazy head kick and Plumuk counters with a leg kick. Plumuk catches Okada with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Okada takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Akira Okada's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Plumuk leaves Okada with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Okada fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Okada is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Okada throws a left and a right that both miss
and Plumuk counters with a low kick, right behind Okada 's knee. Okada wants to clinch. Okada tries to clinch but Plumuk is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kaewkwan Plumuk dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Akira Okada's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Okada looks to throw a body kick and Plumuk counters with a good low kick that Okada was not able to check. Okada has his takedown stuffed and Plumuk counters with a left to the body. Okada tries for a takedown but Plumuk circles away easily and Plumuk counters with a low kick, right behind Okada 's knee. Okada takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Plumuk darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

and Okada counters with a nice double leg into guard. Okada postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Okada has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Plumuk is proving hard to escape from. Kaewkwan Plumuk is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Okada seems to be working for a kimura but Plumuk defends the submission attempt.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Okada fails with the takedown. Kaewkwan Plumuk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akira Okada.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Okada misses with a takedown and Plumuk counters with a good low kick that Okada was not able to check. Okada tries for a takedown but Plumuk circles away easily and Plumuk counters with a slapping leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Akira Okada. I think Plumuk has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
