The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ford staying out of range there.
No joy there for Ford, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ford misses with a looping left.
Emelianenko slips a jab and a cross from Ford.
Emelianenko darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ford won't allow Emelianenko to pass to mount.
Ford is trying to stand back up but Emelianenko is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Emelianenko in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Ford tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Emelianenko!
