Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Brun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brun comes into the arena with "Pump Up the Jam" by The Lost Fingers blaring out of the sound system. Carter has chosen Walkie Talkie - DJ Shadow as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Andrew Carter enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hank Brun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Carter! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Carter ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Carter throws a half hearted mid kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Carter is defended easily by Brun. Brun dodges the punch combination from Carter.
Carter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Carter lands in his opponent's guard. Carter postures up.
Carter passes Brun's left leg - he's now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carter is thwarting Brun's attempts to control the position. Carter is looking to take a break and control but Brun is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Brun tries to get to full guard but Carter has control of the leg. Carter blocks the strikes from Brun.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brun flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Carter is looking to advance position but Brun won't allow it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Carter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brun was well out of range. Poor timing from Carter. Brun throws a head kick but Carter moves out of range.
Carter moves out of range of the body kick from Brun.
Brun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Carter scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Brun scores with a kick to the body.
Carter avoids the head kick by Brun.
Carter drives through with a takedown into guard. Carter wants to control from the top but Brun keeps moving. Carter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carter looking to pass the guard. Brun has his foot on Carter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carter works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter trying to move into half guard but instead Brun has managed to sweep! Brun is sitting in close to Carter's body. Carter has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Brun is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Brun is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Carter.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Andrew Carter!
