Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chuck White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Fred Jones!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones loads up on a big right hand but White slips the punch.
A slow jab from White misses its intended target.
White listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Chuck White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones slips a jab from White.
White shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White looks to land a left hand but Jones moved out of range nicely.

White tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten White somewhat.

Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but White manages to avoid it.
White tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

White throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
White tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from White.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

White shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of White's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take White's back!
Jones is looking to control White but White is wriggling around and keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
White turns into Jones and is now in his guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

White has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jones is trying to get back to full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
White lands a glancing blow to the side of Jones's head.

White looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but White persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as White accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jones manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

White sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
White is trying to get back to full guard.

White is not content to let Jones control the position.
White tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control.
White wants to control but Jones is keeping busy and won't allow it.

White trying to hold on to Jones's head to control him but Jones postures up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Jones on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

White decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
White wants to take a breather but Jones is having none of it.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

White cracks Jones with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
White throws a shot from downtown. Jones moves away and avoids it.

White throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by White.
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from White.

White closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away.
Fred Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
White swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jones counters with a left to the body.

Jones gets caught flat footed, as White shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
White postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Jones wants to sweep but no luck.

Fred Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
White looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Jones wanted to stand there but White had control of the position.
White is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Fred Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think White has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
