Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mer Moquito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boy Pana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moquito's entrance music is KLANEPAZZZZZZ0. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moquito misses with a takedown attempt - Pana sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Moquito tries to clinch up but Pana circles away and keeps his distance. Pana throws a right and a left that Moquito avoids nicely. Moquito shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pana defends it nicely. Pana will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pana tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Moquito swivels and escapes. Pana slaps away a takedown attempt from Moquito, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mer Moquito. That's going to take a lot out of him. Moquito fails in his attempt to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice sprawl there from Pana as Moquito shoots in. Moquito tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pana paws at him with a jab and circles away. Moquito misses with a takedown and Pana counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Moquito's guard now. Pana passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pana decides to stand back up. Pana steps back and let's Moquito get back to his feet. Moquito closes the distance and pushes Pana back into the cage. Pana missing with knees to the body.
Pana wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Moquito has him pressed against the cage. Pana has had enough of the clinch but Moquito keeps him there for the moment. Moquito goes for a takedown attempt but Pana pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moquito is defended easily by Pana. Moquito shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pana as he jumps to the side. Pana misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A left and a right from Pana both land. Nice combination. Pana fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Moquito throws a body kick the misses and Pana counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Moquito trying to control from the bottom.
Moquito has his hands clasped together around Pana's back. He's all about the action. Pana is nestled in close to Moquito, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Moquito is trying to stand up here but Pana is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ground and pound from Pana.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pana decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Pana looks gassed! Moquito displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pana. Moquito uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Pana fails with a takedown attempt. Moquito misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Moquito is pushing Pana's head away, looking to escape. Pana manages to hold on to the position though. Moquito is trying to improve his position. What's Moquito going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Pana trying to control the action but Moquito is working from the bottom. Moquito is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moquito manages to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boy Pana dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Pana checks a low kick from Moquito. Pana lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. A jab from Pana finds it's way through Moquito's defenses. Moquito lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pana backs up against the cage.
It looks like Boy Pana has been cut. Pana misses with a combination
and Moquito holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Pana wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Pana has a couple of punches blocked by Moquito.
Pana breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pana dives in and grabs Moquito's left leg, looking for a takedown. Moquito pushes down on Pana's head and hops out. Moquito fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Pana checks it well. Moquito throws a push kick but Pana slaps the foot to one side. Moquito is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pana tries to clinch but Moquito moves away and Moquito counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pana preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Pana is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moquito tries to free his leg and advance position but Pana is retaining full guard. Moquito slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Pana can't keep his opponent in guard - Moquito advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Pana wants to stand back up but Moquito manages to pass into side control.
Moquito is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Pana will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Pana wants to control but Moquito postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pana trying to remain calm as Moquito controls from the top position. Moquito working the body and head with strikes. Moquito knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pana on the ground. Pana wants to get back to his feet. Pana avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Moquito. Pana is letting Moquito control him for a moment. Moquito misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Pana being controlled for a moment. Moquito looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moquito remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Pana is trying to improve his position. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Moquito in side control, just content to control the action for now. Moquito seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pana for as long as he can get away with. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mer Moquito. Moquito listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Moquito fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Moquito misses with a takedown and Pana decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Moquito's guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mer Moquito. That's going to take a lot out of him. Moquito preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Pana pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Moquito is keeping the position for now. Moquito is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Moquito tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Pana is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Mer Moquito showed his dominance in that final round. I think Moquito has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
