Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Gibralter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Brock Gibralter has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brock Gibralter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Miller! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gibralter avoids the head kick by Miller.
A head kick misses from Gibralter. Gibralter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Miller swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gibralter fails in his attempt to clinch. Miller wants to clinch up but Gibralter keeps it at a distance. Miller circles away from the clinch attempt and Miller counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Miller drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gibralter gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Miller drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Gibralter stops a takedown attempt from Miller.
Brock Gibralter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Miller. A quick uppercut on the inside from Gibralter. Gibralter using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Miller has had enough of the clinch but Gibralter keeps him there for the moment. The referee calls for Gibralter to work.

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Gibralter crunches a lovely knee into Miller's ribcage.

Miller lands with a light punch inside. Miller drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Gibralter creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Gibralter misses with an elbow over the top. Gibralter trying to land knees to the body.

Miller is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gibralter pulls him back up using the underhooks. Gibralter gets underhooks to prevent Miller's takedown attempt.
Gibralter unloads a knee to the mid-section. Miller lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Miller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A head kick misses from Gibralter. No luck for Miller with that takedown attempt. Gibralter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gibralter lands a head kick. Miller smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Gibralter wants to clinch and Miller counters with a nice double leg into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Miller passes Gibralter's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Miller is trying to control the action in half guard but Gibralter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Miller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Miller working over Gibralter with some ground and pound. Gibralter looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller stands up out of the half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Miller shoots in for a takedown but Gibralter shows good takedown defense. Gibralter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Miller has closed the distance and engaged Gibralter in a clinch.

Gibralter digs a right hand into Miller's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Miller's gas tank. Miller goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gibralter prevents it.

That was a close round but I would say that Brock Gibralter will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Some bone on bone action there as Miller checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Miller tries to clinch up but Gibralter circles away and keeps his distance. Gibralter throws a head kick but Miller moves out of range.
Miller closes the distance and clinches. Gibralter misses with a knee to the head. Miller has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gibralter uses from the top position. Miller will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Miller is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gibralter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Miller is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gibralter has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Miller is proving hard to escape from.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Miller throws a head kick that misses and Gibralter counters with an inside leg kick. Miller has Gibralter up against the cage in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Miller drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gibralter gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Gibralter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Gibralter is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Miller advances position into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller trying to control the action but Gibralter is working from the bottom. Miller stands up. Gibralter throws a head kick that misses. Miller takes a head kick and keeps coming.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gibralter closes the distance but Miller moves to the side and Gibralter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gibralter throws a head kick that Miller semi-blocks.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gibralter tries to get out of the position. Gibralter working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Miller. Miller wants to control from the top but Gibralter keeps moving. Miller stands and steps away. Gibralter gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Miller scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Gibralter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gibralter lands with a kick to the temple. Miller shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Miller will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gibralter up against the cage. Miller tries to pull guard but Gibralter holds him up against the cage and eventually Miller drops back down to his feet.

He has hold of a leg but Gibralter is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Miller persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Gibralter keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Gibralter wants to stand but Miller is controlling the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gibralter being controlled here, momentarily. Miller pushes down on Gibralter's leg and manages to get into half guard. Miller decides to stand up. Miller scores a takedown into full mount! Miller with good strikes from the mount here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller trying to control but Gibralter is having none of it. Miller fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Miller breaks from Gibralter's wrist control and lands an elbow. Gibralter is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Justin Miller has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gibralter trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Miller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gibralter wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gibralter is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Miller has taken his back! Gibralter controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Miller trying to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Justin Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Miller has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
