Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Belfoort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiko Zanetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vitor Belfoort!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zanetti changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Belfoort looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Belfoort tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Belfoort is trying to control Zanetti's posture but Zanetti avoids it.
Zanetti working the strikes but Belfoort uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Zanetti stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Zanetti changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Belfoort tries to avoid it but Zanetti manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Belfoort to the ground. Belfoort escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Zanetti counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Belfoort is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Zanetti wants to get up but he can't break Belfoort's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Zanetti postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Belfoort working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zanetti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zanetti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Zanetti has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Belfoort can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kiko Zanetti showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kiko Zanetti comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Zanetti winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
