Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andy Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane slaps away a takedown attempt from Pain, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kane tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pain sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kane somewhat. Kane misses with a takedown attempt and Pain counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pain. Kane pulls Pain in close to his closed guard and prevents Pain from doing any damage or advancing position. Pain pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kane is keeping the position for now. Pain drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kane manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pain has Kane in his guard. Kane postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Kane stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Pain has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Kane manages to get his head free but now Pain has transitioned to an armbar! Kane grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Pain! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Andy Pain!
