Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauro Mateus dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Mauro Mateus dos Santos!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
dos Santos connects with the punch.
dos Santos tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
dos Santos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but dos Santos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.

Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by dos Santos which made him look bad.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

dos Santos lands a left and a right that send Jones crashing to the mat, dazed. dos Santos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jones. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. dos Santos tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. dos Santos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

dos Santos takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mauro Mateus dos Santos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Jones is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? dos Santos is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, dos Santos circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jon Jones.
I think dos Santos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
