Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Motta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philip Dale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dale has chosen Try A Little Tenderness as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Roger Motta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Philip Dale! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dale closes the distance and clinches up with Motta, looking for a takedown. Dale pushes Motta against the cage but Motta circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Motta scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Dale looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Dale tries to stand but can't do so whilst Motta controls his leg. Motta gets back to full guard.
Dale stands and steps away. Motta gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Motta misses with a hook. Dale ducked under it nicely. Dale fails with an attempt to clinch.

Motta shoots in for a takedown but Dale shows good takedown defense.
Dale shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Motta napping and manages to drive through into side control! Dale really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Motta. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Motta is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Motta makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Motta. This has been an exciting period of action!
Dale is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Motta has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Dale is looking to defend but Motta has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Dale! Motta pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Dale taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Roger Motta!
