And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Bush!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wise misses with a body kick.
Wise leaves Bush with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jay Bush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bush swats away the attempt to clinch by Wise.

Bush steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wise.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bush tries for a takedown but Wise sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dennis Wise has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Bush.
Bush uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wise.

Wise tries to clinch up but Bush circles away and keeps his distance.

Wise loads up on a big right hand but Bush slips the punch.
Bush misses with a takedown attempt - Wise sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice takedown defense from Wise. No joy for Bush on that attempt.
Bush fails with a takedown attempt.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wise misses with a leg kick.
Wise throws a jab when Bush was well out of range.
Bush throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wise throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Bush slips under a jab from Wise.
Wise lands a jab to the nose.
Wise defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bush.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bush keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wise.
Wise tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bush shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wise sprawls well. Wise wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bush gets slowly back to his feet.
Wise scores with a nice strike.
Bush scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wise is looking to chop away at Bush's legs.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bush misses with a leg kick
and Wise counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wise drops Bush with a naaaaasty hook - Bush is in real trouble here! Wise dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
