Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Monson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Grace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grace has chosen Doggystyle as his entrance music. Jeff Monson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Grace is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Grace tries for a takedown but Monson manages to get underhooks.

Monson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Monson wants to clinch up but Grace keeps it at a distance.

Monson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Grace's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Grace can do anything to dispel that myth.

Monson is trying to get an arm triangle but Grace is defending well.

Grace is looking to regain half guard here but Monson keeps moving and retains side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Grace goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Monson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Grace but great work by Monson.

Grace darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Monson wants to control but Grace is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Grace is stalling here. Monson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Grace seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Monson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jeff Monson.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Grace connects with a nice short shot to Monson's temple.

Grace really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Monson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Grace drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Monson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Grace has Monson in his guard.

Max Grace comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Grace has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
