Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Aguiar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Holloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Holloway! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holloway goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Lucas Aguiar has been cut. Holloway feints and as Aguiar raises his hands in defense, Holloway changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Aguiar wants to sweep here but Holloway controlling him for the moment. Holloway has gone for a leg lock! Aguiar slips out almost immediately though and dives into Holloway's guard. Holloway keeping moving, preventing Aguiar from controlling successfully. Holloway tries to land a sweep but no joy. Holloway is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Aguiar defends well. Aguiar trying to control the position from guard on top but Holloway is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holloway is looking to sweep but instead, Aguiar has passed into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aguiar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Holloway knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Aguiar is trying to control the action in half guard but Holloway is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Holloway looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Aguiar is looking for a kimura here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Aguiar has his takedown stuffed and Holloway counters with a nice double leg into side control. Aguiar won't be happy with that. Aguiar sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Aguiar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Holloway is working for a submission of some sort.
Holloway is working for a kimura but Aguiar is defending it quite comfortably.

Mike Holloway dominated that round. The cut man is working on Lucas Aguiar's cut. That's time! Aguiar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Aguiar. Holloway looks to move to half guard but instead Aguiar has passed into mount! Damn! Holloway is breathing heavily. Aguiar goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Holloway is on top in guard.
Aguiar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Holloway gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Holloway stands and throws Aguiar's legs to the side, diving into side control. Aguiar is trying to control Holloway's posture but Holloway avoids it. Holloway looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Holloway goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Aguiar has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Holloway but great work by Aguiar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aguiar wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Holloway, who protects the arm well. Aguiar decides to stand up, so the ref orders Holloway to his feet. Aguiar clinches but Holloway breaks the clinch and Holloway counters with a nice double leg into guard. Aguiar thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aguiar throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Holloway passes Aguiar's left leg - he's now in half guard. Aguiar is looking for a sweep. Holloway is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Holloway is trying to work for a kimura but Aguiar is defending well.
Holloway is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Aguiar is just riding it out for now. Holloway eventually gives up the hold. Holloway is trying to work for a kimura but Aguiar is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Holloway is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Aguiar still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Aguiar has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Aguiar working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Holloway sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mike Holloway will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Lucas Aguiar's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Aguiar misses with a takedown attempt and Holloway counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Aguiar! Aguiar wants to hold on but Holloway pushes him away. Holloway swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Aguiar is now in Holloway's guard. A big mistake from Holloway there, giving up the dominant position! Aguiar thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Aguiar trying to move into half guard but instead Holloway has managed to sweep! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hollowayis looking to pass into half guard but Aguiar pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Aguiar is in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aguiar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holloway swivels though and keeps the full guard. Holloway is looking to sweep but instead, Aguiar has passed into half guard.
Holloway tries to roll over but Aguiar keeps him under control. Aguiar is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Holloway has managed to free his arm - good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Aguiar passes to full mount! Aguiar wants to control the pace but Holloway is squirming around nicely. Aguiar stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aguiar misses with a takedown so Holloway counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Holloway wants to pass the guard but Aguiar is keeping the position. Holloway drops back, looking for a kneebar! Aguiar looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Aguiar looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Aguiar! Holloway is not content to let Aguiar control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Holloway is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Aguiar stands up and we're back to a striking position.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Holloway comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Holloway has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
