Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Esteynid Adelar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davi Carochinha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adelar comes to the cage accompanied by Bacteria. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Davi Carochinha! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carochinha shoots in for a takedown but Adelar shows good takedown defense. Adelar drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Adelar stands and throws Carochinha's legs to the side, diving into side control. Adelar controls the position. Carochinha wants to control but Adelar postures up. Carochinha prevents Adelar from improving position. Carochinha is trying to work for a sweep but Adelar has mounted him!
That's one minute gone in the round. Carochinha is desperately trying to improve his position but Adelar has a good base and remains in mount. Adelar controlling from the full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carochinha tries to get back to half guard but can't. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carochinha can do anything to dispel that myth. Carochinha is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Carochinha tries to hold on but Adelar pushes him away. Adelar controlling from the full mount. Carochinha is desperately trying to improve his position but Adelar has a good base and remains in mount. Carochinha is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Carochinha is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adelar controlling from mount. Carochinha is squirming around, avoiding Adelar's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Carochinha is trying to escape the mount.
Adelar controlling the position easily from mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Carochinha wants to control but Adelar is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Esteynid Adelar dominated that round. That's time! Adelar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Adelar has his takedown stuffed and Carochinha counters with a left to the body. Carochinha with a lazy takedown attempt and Adelar counters by clinching up. A frustrated look appears on Carochinha's face as he tries to break the clinch. Adelar has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Carochinha avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Adelar goes for a takedown in the clinch but Carochinha prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Esteynid Adelar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Adelar tries for a takedown. No joy.
Carochinha looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Carochinha has Adelar pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Adelar manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Adelar keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Carochinha's efforts to push away. Adelar tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Adelar jumps guard but Carochinha stands there with Adelar around his waist. Adelar gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Adelar is trying to drag Carochinha to the mat but Carochinha just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Carochinha looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Carochinha wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carochinha wants to get back to striking at distance but Adelar won't allow it.
A frustrated look appears on Carochinha's face as he tries to break the clinch. Carochinha breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carochinha shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Adelar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Carochinha won't be happy with that. Carochinha is trying to improve his position. Carochinha is trying to work for a sweep but Adelar has mounted him! Carochinha is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carochinha is squirming around, avoiding Adelar's attempts to control the action. Carochinha keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Adelar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Carochinha is looking to escape. Adelar is really struggling to control Carochinha but he's trying to hold on to the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Carochinha tries to lock up and control but Adelar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Esteynid Adelar dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

It looks like Esteynid Adelar has been cut. Carochinha misses with a takedown and Adelar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Adelar. Adelar won't allow Carochinha to sweep him here. Adelar trying to control but Carochinha is working from the bottom. Carochinha pulls Adelar in close to prevent any damage. Adelar stopping the sweep attempt from Carochinha.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Carochinha tries to clinch but Adelar moves away and Adelar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Carochinha tries to kick Adelar off but Adelar keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Adelar trying to control the action but Carochinha is working from the bottom. Adelar is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Carochinha is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carochinha missing with punches from the bottom.
Adelar trying to control from half guard but Carochinha is working away. Carochinha tries to kick Adelar off in order to stand up. Adelar Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Adelar trying to control the position but Carochinha is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Carochinha trying to control but Adelar flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Carochinha is trying to break free.
Adelar is looking to control Carochinha but Carochinha is wriggling around and keeping busy. Carochinha is really stuck here.
And that's the end of the fight! Esteynid Adelar showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Adelar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
