Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doug Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Umipig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Umipig has chosen Loser as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doug Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brandon Umipig!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Umipig shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bradley is trying to defend but Umipig finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bradley is looking to control Umipig's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bradley avoid being mounted?
Bradley lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
Umipig trying to pass the guard but Bradley defending well.
Bradley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bradley is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Umipig's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Umipig's back!
Umipig trying to control the action but Bradley just sinks the hooks in.
Can Umipig hold on?! Bradley is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Umipig looking very determined here, making life difficult for Bradley.
Umipig is trying to break free.
Bradley throwing sloppy strikes.
A lull in the action here.
Bradley doesn't have the hooks in and Umipig manages to turn into his guard.
Bradley keeping moving, preventing Umipig from controlling successfully.
Umipig seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Umipig keeps the fight on the outside.
Bradley is looking to clinch.

Umipig gets caught flat footed, as Bradley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Umipig looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bradley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Umipig controlling the position.
Umipig looks gassed!
Umipig looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bradley is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Umipig is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Umipig is looking for a triangle but Bradley pushes his legs off easily.
Bradley trying to control but Umipig is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bradley scores with a hook to the body. Umipig takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Umipig has his takedown stuffed

and Bradley counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Umipig is trying to control the position but Bradley postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bradley trying to control but Umipig is working from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bradley fails with the takedown.

Umipig throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bradley was covering up waiting for the punch and Umipig finishes the takedown easily into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Doug Bradley dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Bradley fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bradley closes this distance looking for a takedown but Umipig circles away.
Bradley tries to clinch there but Umipig circles away.

Umipig closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bradley is trying to buck Umipig off.

Umipig looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Umipig is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Umipig trying to control the action but Bradley is working from the bottom.
Bradley manages to work his way to half guard, despite Umipig's best efforts.
Umipig content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bradley is not content to let Umipig control the position.
Bradley trying to control from the bottom.
Bradley is controlling Umipig's trapped leg to prevent Umipig from advancing to side control.
Bradley won't allow Umipig to pass to mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bradley trying to control but Umipig postures up.

Bradley is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Umipig pulls his head out easily.
Umipig wants to pass the guard but Bradley is defending well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Umipig closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Umipig lands in his opponent's guard.
Bradley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Umipig looking to sit in guard and control but Bradley gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Umipig trying to control the position.
Bradley's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Bradley stopping the sweep attempt from Umipig.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bradley thows a big elbow that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brandon Umipig showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Excellent takedown into side control there by Umipig.
Bradley tries to bench press Umipig off him but Umipig keeps the position.
Umipig is looking to take a break and control but Bradley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Brandon Umipig has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bradley can't do much from the bottom here.

Umipig is staying tight to Bradley's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Umipig wants to control but Bradley is keeping him busy.

Umipig is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bradley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bradley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Bradley wants to control the pace but Umipig is squirming around nicely.
Umipig tries to hold on but Bradley pushes him away.
Umipig is working to get back to half guard.
Bradley trying to control but Umipig is having none of it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Umipig wants to control but Bradley is having none of it.
Umipig is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Bradley is staying active.
Bradley throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Umipig because Bradley loaded up on that one.
Bradley thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Bradley trying to control but Umipig is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bradley sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Umipig tries to reverse the position but Bradley maintains control.
Bradley avoids the attempt from Umipig to control.
Bradley unloading with bombs!
Bradley trying to control but Umipig is having none of it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Umipig tries to lock up and control but Bradley gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Brandon Umipig.
I think Umipig has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
