Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Noga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jim Noga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, AJ Santos! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Noga closes the distance and clinches up with Santos, looking for a takedown. Noga pushes Santos against the cage but Santos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Santos shoots in for a double leg but Noga sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. AJ Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Noga dives in and grabs Santos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Santos pushes down on Noga's head and hops out. Santos looks to land a right hand but Noga moved out of range. Left hook, right uppercut from Noga. Noga stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Noga wants it to stay on the feet. Santos is looking to clinch. Santos takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A nice inside leg kick there by Noga. That's going to slow Santos down. Noga throws a nice head kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Noga moves into the clinch successfully.
Santos using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Noga has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Noga prevents a body shot from Santos. Santos wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Noga pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Noga fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Noga. That's going to take a lot out of him. Noga is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Santos's half guard. Santos tries to get to full guard but Noga has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Noga wants to lay and pray for a moment but Santos keeps working. Noga knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santos on the ground. Noga moves nicely into side control. Noga scoring with punches and elbows. Santos tries to get back to half guard but can't. Noga tries to advance position but instead Santos slips a leg back in to half guard. Noga decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santos shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Santos was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Santos with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Santos looks gassed! Santos goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Noga is on top in guard.
Noga slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Noga works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Noga trying to control the action but Santos is working from the bottom. Noga seems to be working for a kimura but Santos defends the submission attempt. Noga is looking to advance position but Santos won't allow it. Noga wants to lay and pray for a moment but Santos keeps working. Santos slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Santos throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Noga sitting in guard, not really doing much. Noga has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Santos is proving hard to escape from. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Noga trying to control the position from guard on top but Santos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Noga dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Noga doesn't succeed with the takedown and Santos counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Noga's guard now. Noga wants to improve his position but instead Santos has moved into half guard.

Santos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Santos is working for a kimura but Noga is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Noga tries to roll over but Santos keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Noga works his way to full guard. Good work. Noga looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Santos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Santos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Santos drops back looking for a leg! Noga is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Noga manages to kick Santos off! Santos jumps back into Noga's guard. AJ Santos has got the better of the ground game so far. Santos is breathing heavily. Santos slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Noga is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Santos has just dragged him back down to the mat. Santos looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Santos working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Noga wants to get back to his feet. Santos tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Noga is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Santos working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Noga tries to get back to half guard but can't. Noga misses with a strike from the bottom. Noga wants to control but Santos postures up. Santos has hold of Noga's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Noga seems comfortable defending it but Santos has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Noga is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Noga is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Santos couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). AJ Santos!
