The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguiar fails with a takedown attempt.
Aguiar throws a series of punches but Flores avoids them all with ease.

Flores takes the fight into the clinch.
Flores wants to stall.
Flores tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Aguiar blocks the elbow strike.
Flores is trying to maintain a safe position but Aguiar gets an underhook and turns Flores into the cage.

Flores is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Aguiar has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Aguiar thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
