Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Doutor Doc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escobar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hard In Da Paint (Instrumental) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Doutor Doc! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pablo Escobar! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Escobar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Escobar fails with the takedown. Escobar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Doc avoids it really well and circles away. Escobar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Doc swats him away and circles back towards the center. Escobar swats away the attempt to clinch by Doc. Escobar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Doc, pushing him back against the cage. Escobar successfully pulls guard.
Escobar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Doc's guard. Escobar postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Escobar stands up from Doc's guard - Escobar perhaps looking for a knockout. Doc keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Escobar gets a clinch. Escobar putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Doc in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Escobar missing with knees to the body.
Doc fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Escobar manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Escobar has his feet on Doc's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. The fight stays on the outside here - Escobar looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Escobar fails with a takedown attempt. Doutor Doc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Escobar. Escobar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Doc fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Doc closes the distance looking to clinch and Escobar counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Escobar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Escobar has Doc pressed against the cage, preventing Doc from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Doc has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Escobar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Escobar jumps into guard, dragging Doc to the mat.
Doc has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Escobar throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Escobar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Doc doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Escobar is tightening it up a little... Doc has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Doc reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Doc taps out! nice BJJ there by Escobar!
