Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tbigg red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tropa de Elite. tbigg red has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Daniel Alves's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Alves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, tbigg red! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! red fails with a takedown attempt. red fails in his attempt to clinch. red fails to land the takedown. Alves closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. red turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and red manages to end up in side control. red trying to control the action but Alves is working from the bottom. red looking to control but instead Alves has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. red is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Alves doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time red.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Alves closes the distance and pushes red back into the cage. red throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Alves blocks it with crossed arms. red gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Alves.

That's three minutes gone in the round. red can't keep his opponent in guard - Alves advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Alves is working for a kimura but red is defending it quite comfortably.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alves is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Alves avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
red is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alves accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. red bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Alves's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

red shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Alves sprawls well. Alves wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. red gets slowly back to his feet. Alves circles away from the clinch attempt and Alves counters with a head kick. red tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Alves counters with a flying knee. Nice. red looks to throw a body kick and Alves counters with a body kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight stays on the outside here - red looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Alves jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Poor timing from red. red misses with a takedown and Alves counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. red is lucky that one didn't land flush. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Alves. red tries for a takedown but Alves circles away easily and Alves counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Daniel Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of tbigg red. Alves working over red with some ground and pound. red looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Alves is looking for a kimura here.

Good work. red is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Alves drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but red manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Alves has red in his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alves keeping moving, preventing red from controlling successfully. red passes Alves's right leg, so he's now in half guard. red trying to control the action but Alves is working from the bottom. red seems to be looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. red is trying to work for a kimura but Alves is defending well.

Nice work. red gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. red tries to clinch up and Alves counters with a takedown into side control. red tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Alves counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Alves. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alves trying to control the position from guard on top but red is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. red looking to control.
Alves stopping the sweep attempt from red. Alves postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! red is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Alves, into his guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. red postures up.
Daniel Alves overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. red stands up from Alves's guard - red perhaps looking for a knockout. red shoots and misses and Alves counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Alves. red is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Alves pulls him back up using the underhooks. red changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Alves fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Daniel Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of tbigg red. red misses with a takedown attempt - Alves sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. red is looking to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Alves or perhaps it was just good defense by red which made him look bad. red takes the fight into the clinch. red manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
red tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Alves smiles and moves away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Alves as red shoots in. The fight moves into the clinch position. Alves is working for takedown but red is calmly controlling the position for now. red breaks the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. red might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Alves kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Alves wants to control but red is keeping busy.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Daniel Alves. Well Alves has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
