Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Willy Coffey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pai Dad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Willy Coffey looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Willy Coffey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pai Dad! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coffey has closed the distance and engaged Dad in a clinch.
Dad is trying to force a seperation but Coffey has the dominant position. Dad tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Coffey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dad shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Coffey as he jumps to the side. Dad wants to clinch up but Coffey keeps it at a distance. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dad misses with a takedown attempt - Coffey sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Coffey has a takedown stuffed.

Dad tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Coffey counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Coffey. Dad jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Coffey walks away with a smile on his face. Dad gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Coffey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dad. Dad fails with a takedown attempt. Dad shoots in but no luck this time. Dad throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Coffey's waist but Coffey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dad off to one side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dad shoots for a takedown but Coffey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Coffey fails with the takedown. Dad will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Dad throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Dad throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Coffey's waist but Coffey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dad off to one side. Dad is looking to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Coffey stuffs the takedown. Dad closes this distance looking for a takedown but Coffey circles away. Coffey clinches. Coffey is struggling to control the position. Coffey looking to slow down the pace here. Dad can't break the clinch.

We're back to striking at a distance. Dad throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dad shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Coffey as he avoids it easily. Dad changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coffey tries to avoid it but Dad manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coffey to the ground. Coffey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Coffey has taken the fight to the clinch.

Willy Coffey is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Coffey preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Willy Coffey showed his dominance in that final round. Well Coffey has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
