Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brody Savanis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Migeal Quintes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brody Savanis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Migeal Quintes! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savanis with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Savanis clinches with his opponent.
Savanis is working for takedown but Quintes is calmly controlling the position for now. Quintes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Savanis just stands there and leans against the cage. Savanis is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Quintes can't fight it off and eventually Savanis manages to take the fight to the floor. Quintes looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Quintes controls Savanis momentarily but Savanis frees himself. Savanis is looking to work some ground and pound but Quintes has wrist control. Savanis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Quintes's guard. Savanis throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quintes is holding on to half guard well. Quintes tries to get to full guard but Savanis has control of the leg. Savanis throws a strike but Quintes avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Savanis has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Savanis postures up in Quintes's guard and throws a big left but Quintes blocks it. Quintes not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quintes avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Quintes is trying to control the position from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Savanis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Savanis gets the takedown into side control. Quintes manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Quintes decides to stand and escape the position. Savanis closes the distance and clinches. Quintes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Quintes tries to close the distance and clinch but Savanis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Quintes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Savanis pinned against the cage. Savanis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Quintes tries to clinch there but Savanis circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savanis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Quintes gets the takedown into side control. Savanis tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Quintes presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Quintes looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Savanis squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Quintes stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savanis feints and as Quintes raises his hands in defense, Savanis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Quintes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Savanis's guard. Savanis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Savanis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Savanis is controlling Quintes's posture. Quintes is stalling in the full guard. Quintes postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brody Savanis dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Quintes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Savanis decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Quintes's guard. Quintes controls Savanis momentarily but Savanis frees himself. Savanis throws a strike but Quintes rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Savanis has a closed guard, preventing Quintes from standing up.

He's now in the guard on the top. Quintes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Savanis defends well. Savanis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Savanis throws a strike but Quintes avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Quintes wants to sweep here but Savanis controlling him for the moment. Savanis trying to control the position from guard on top but Quintes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Savanis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Quintes works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Savanis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Quintes is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Savanis is controlling him.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Savanis shoots in and bounces Quintes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Savanis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quintes swivels though and keeps the full guard. Savanis is in close to Quintes's body, working some short punches and elbows. Savanis with a nice head shot there. Savanis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Quintes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Savanis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Quintes is breathing heavily. Savanis works over Quintes with some ground and pound from guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quintes has his hands on Savanis's head, controlling the position. Quintes is trying to control the position but Savanis postures up. Quintes managing to control the position. Savanis throws a strike but Quintes rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Savanis uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Brody Savanis dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Savanis keeps the fight on the outside. Brody Savanis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Savanis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quintes moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Quintes doesn't manage to clinch there - Savanis circles away.
Quintes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Savanis swats him away and circles back towards the center. Quintes checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Savanis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Quintes was well out of range. Poor timing from Savanis. Quintes fails with the takedown and Savanis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Quintes won't be happy with that. Quintes is trying to control Savanis's posture but Savanis avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Savanis working the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savanis throws an elbow but Quintes slips to the side and avoids it well. Savanis tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Quintes looks like he's trying to stand up.
Brody Savanis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Quintes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Quintes shoots in but no luck this time. Brody Savanis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Excellent takedown into side control there by Savanis. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Quintes is not content to let Savanis control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quintes wants to control but Savanis postures up. Savanis throwing shots but missing, from side control. Sloppy strikes there by Savanis. Savanis working the strikes but Quintes uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Savanis throws a right hand that Quintes ducks under and follows up with a left that Quintes also avoids with ease. Savanis misses with a takedown attempt - Quintes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Quintes is looking to clinch but Savanis is avoiding it.
Brody Savanis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Savanis is defended easily by Quintes. Savanis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Quintes as he avoids it easily. Migeal Quintes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brody Savanis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Quintes shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Savanis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Quintes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Quintes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Quintes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that's the end of the fight! Brody Savanis showed his dominance in that final round. Well Savanis has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
