Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long looks to land a combination but Koscheck avoids it well.
Long keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Long throws a big shot that misses.
Long connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Koscheck's hands.
Long looks to land a right hand but Koscheck moved out of range.
Koscheck bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Long swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Koscheck.
Long misses with a straight left.
Koscheck is trying hard to land a takedown here. Long sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Koscheck keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Long.
Koscheck displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Long throws out the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Long tries to bench press Koscheck off him but Koscheck keeps the position.

Koscheck wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Long, who protects the arm well.
Long on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Long is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Koscheck has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Koscheck scores with a couple of short elbows.
Koscheck connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Long some visible discomfort.

Long is rocked!
Koscheck is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Long's shoulder. That is not cool.
Oh Long is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Long is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Koscheck asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Long seems to have got his legs back now.
Koscheck cracks Long with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Koscheck immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Long is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Koscheck!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Josh Koscheck!
