Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake O Donnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake O Donnell! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Wells! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Donnell throws a nice looking combination but Wells bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wells throws a push kick but O Donnell slaps the foot to one side. O Donnell drives through and clinches with Wells against the cage.
Wells blocks a body shot from O Donnell. O Donnell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as O Donnell takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. O Donnell is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Wells successfully pulls guard.
Wells looking for a guillotine here but O Donnell defends easily.
Wells manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. O Donnell manages to get himself to full guard.
Wells passes O Donnell's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Wells trying to control the action but O Donnell is working from the bottom. Wells tries to advance to mount but can't. Wells is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, O Donnell has escaped the position, nice work there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wells wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by O Donnell, who protects the arm well. Wells is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. O Donnell knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wells swings around for an armbar but O Donnell sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Wells's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. O Donnell is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. O Donnell wants to stand but Wells has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Wells working for a triangle but O Donnell defends it easily.
Wells looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wells is trying to keep O Donnell in close.

O Donnell moves in looking to clinch but Wells pushes him off. No luck for O Donnell with that takedown attempt. Wells drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
O Donnell is rocked! Wells thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. O Donnell takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. O Donnell is not content to let Wells control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wells working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Wells moves into full mount! Wells looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Wells connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Wells with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wells landing strikes from the mount. O Donnell is bucking up trying to escape but Wells cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Wells lands a heavy elbow. Wells with shots to the head and body - O Donnell looks very uncomfortable down there. O Donnell is trying desperately to improve position. O Donnell really wants to buck Wells off and get back to his feet. O Donnell can't escape the position.
Wells fails to advance to O Donnell's back. Wells looking to finish with strikes here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wells tries to control but O Donnell wriggling away. Wells avoids the attempt from O Donnell to control. Wells raining down shots from the mount! Wells looking to secure an arm triangle but O Donnell defends it well. Wells goes for an armbar but O Donnell turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from O Donnell.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Wells trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Wells is trying to control the position but O Donnell postures up. Wells is looking for a triangle but O Donnell pushes his legs off easily.
Wells had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. O Donnell is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wells Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take O Donnell's back instead. Wells looking for the choke but no joy. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wells working for a choke but O Donnell reverses nicely into Wells 's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Wells showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
O Donnell swinging wilding here.
O Donnell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wells pinned against the cage. Wells gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. O Donnell closes the distance and clinches. O Donnell trying to stall but Wells improves his position.
O Donnell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wells scores with a punch to the head. Oh O Donnell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wells clinches with his opponent.
Wells jumps guard.
Wells is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. O Donnell seems to have got his legs back now. Wells frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wells looking to control but O Donnell is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wells looking for a guillotine from mount but O Donnell is having none of it. Wells with a couple of short strikes. O Donnell has given up his back. Will we see Wells going for some submissions?
Wells is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but O Donnell won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Wells off his unconscious opponent!
