Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Florian Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergey Zverev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zverev has chosen Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zverev throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mir.
Zverev keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Zverev throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mir tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zverev sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mir somewhat.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Zverev has eaten all the pies!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mir shoots in but Zverev avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Zverev throws a right and a left that Mir avoids nicely.

Zverev throws a series of punches but Mir moves out of range.
Mir changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zverev tries to avoid it but Mir manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zverev to the ground. Zverev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Zverev tries to bum rush Mir with a series of wild strikes but Mir uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Zverev throws a right hand that Mir ducks under and follows up with a left that Mir also avoids with ease.
Mir ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mir shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zverev pinned against the cage. Zverev gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mir moves away from the strike by Zverev.

Sergey Zverev comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Zverev has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
