Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles carlson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuudai Ryuu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). carlson comes into the arena with Muse- Stockholm Syndrome blaring out of the sound system. Ryuu has chosen HBO Boxing 24/7 Original Theme as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
carlson thows a body shot but no joy.
Ryuu works the jab nicely.
carlson misses with a body shot
and Ryuu counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Charles carlson has been cut.
Ryuu drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
carlson scores with a jab. Ryuu acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
carlson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ryuu makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Charles carlson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
carlson misses with a body punch
and Ryuu makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. carlson really felt that one!
carlson misses with a double jab
and Ryuu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
carlson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ryuu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts carlson as he jumps to the side.
carlson throws an off balance right hand
and Ryuu makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
carlson jabs Ryuu right on the nose. Ryuu blinks but takes it well.
Ryuu throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by carlson .
carlson misses with a left hand
enabling Ryuu to counter with a crisp jab.
Ryuu lands with a kick to the ribs.
carlson is breathing heavily.
An inside leg kick lands from Ryuu.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ryuu jabs at carlson 's body.
Ryuu with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ryuu lands a head kick. carlson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Charles carlson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ryuu scores with a jab.
Charles carlson 's cut is getting worse.
Ryuu is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops carlson like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving carlson from another fist facial!
