The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lefebvre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Penn throws a series of punches but Lefebvre avoids them all with ease.
Penn tries to land a front kick but Lefebvre steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Penn blocks a head kick by Lefebvre.
Lefebvre walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Penn throws a combination. Lefebvre tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Francois Lefebvre has been cut.
Penn throws a sloppy head kick and Lefebvre moves out of range easily.
Penn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Penn connects with a looping right hand.
Penn tries a head kick but it misses.
Lefebvre misses with a kick to the body
and Penn counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A jab from Penn does it's job there.
Lefebvre is rocked!
Penn throws a head kick but Lefebvre moves out of range.
Penn changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Penn lands a head kick. Lefebvre smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Oh Lefebvre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Penn looks to throw the jab but Lefebvre is out of range.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Penn! Lefebvre is out on his feet! Penn rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Lefebvre is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Lefebvre is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
