Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mitchell Joseph!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Bradshaw!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joseph throws a head kick but Bradshaw moves out of range.
Bradshaw should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Joseph takes the fight into the clinch.
Joseph prevents the takedown attempt.
Bradshaw is looking to break free of the clinch but Joseph has double underhooks.
A right handed body shot lands from Joseph.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Joseph.
Joseph lands an elbow just above Bradshaw 's eye.


It looks like Nick Bradshaw has been cut.
Bradshaw is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Joseph gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Bradshaw looks gassed!
Bradshaw takes an elbow to the temple.

Joseph breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bradshaw gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Joseph is looking to work some ground and pound but Bradshaw has wrist control.
Joseph stays in close to Bradshaw's body and controls the position.

Bradshaw working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Joseph doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Joseph manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Joseph stands and steps away. Bradshaw gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Joseph bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bradshaw on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Joseph rushes Bradshaw and presses him up against the ropes.
Joseph scores a nice knee to the body.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Joseph.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Joseph lands a left and a right that send Bradshaw crashing to the mat, dazed. Joseph thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Bradshaw is rocked!
Joseph misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Joseph fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Joseph feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bradshaw looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Joseph has picked Bradshaw up and slammed him! Bradshaw can't keep hold of the triangle and Joseph manages to pass to side control!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Joseph controls the position.
Bradshaw is looking to reverse the position.
Joseph trying to control the position but Bradshaw is working away.
Bradshaw tries to buck Joseph off but Joseph is having none of it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bradshaw can do anything to dispel that myth.

Joseph stands up and beckons Bradshaw to his feet.
Joseph lands a jab to Bradshaw's midsection.
Joseph lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bradshaw at a distance.
Joseph throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bradshaw on the side of the head.

Joseph shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bradshaw takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Joseph sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Joseph is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bradshaw to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bradshaw shrugs it off.

Bradshaw is looking to improve his position but Joseph isn't that keen on the idea.
Joseph tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Joseph in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Joseph shoots in but Bradshaw avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Joseph lands with a kick to the temple. Bradshaw shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Joseph closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Joseph stands up and we're back to a striking position.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Joseph has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bradshaw accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bradshaw is looking to advance position but Joseph has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Joseph fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Joseph swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bradshaw is now in Joseph's guard. A big mistake from Joseph there, giving up the dominant position!

Bradshaw throws a strike but Joseph rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Bradshaw had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Joseph defends it easily.

Bradshaw is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bradshaw is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Joseph takes the fight into the clinch.
Joseph is trying to maintain a safe position but Bradshaw gets an underhook and turns Joseph into the ropes.
Bradshaw has Joseph pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Joseph manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Bradshaw drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Joseph with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Joseph lands an elbow that stopped Bradshaw in his tracks for a moment.
Joseph lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.


That has opened up Nick Bradshaw's cut even more.
Joseph is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Joseph pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Joseph swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Joseph shoots in and bounces Bradshaw off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

Joseph stands and steps away. Bradshaw gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Joseph throws a push kick but Bradshaw slaps the foot to one side.

Bradshaw is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Joseph is controlling him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
