Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Vogelov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KO Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Igor Vogelov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, KO Kane!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane stuffs the takedown.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vogelov.
Kane leaves Vogelov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Vogelov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vogelov thows a body shot but no joy.
Vogelov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kane sprawls well. Kane wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vogelov gets slowly back to his feet.
Vogelov wants to clinch up but Kane keeps it at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kane has his takedown stuffed
and Vogelov counters with a shoot takedown. Kane fights it but they end up in guard.
Kane looks gassed!
Vogelov postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kane keeping full guard, as Vogelov tries to pass.
Vogelov wanted to stand there but Kane had control of the position.
Vogelov prevents Kane from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kane can't keep his opponent in guard - Vogelov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kane can do anything to dispel that myth.
Vogelov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kane!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kane is trying to escape the mount.
Vogelov unloads with some shots from mount but Kane bucks and avoids them well.
Vogelov looking for a guillotine from mount but Kane is having none of it.
Vogelov has control of Kane's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kane regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Vogelov sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Vogelov goes for an armbar but Kane turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kane.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Vogelov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kane counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Kane thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vogelov's head.
Vogelov trying to control from the bottom.
Kane throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Vogelov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kane pulls his head out easily.
Vogelov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kane's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kane's back!
Vogelov is cranking Kane's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Kane! He's tightened the choke and Kane is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Igor Vogelov!
