Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sean Ferguson jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Pashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Aaron Pashley enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Ferguson jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Aaron Pashley!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pashley blocks the body kick.

Pashley gets a takedown into half guard.

Pashley is working for a submission of some sort.

Pashley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ferguson jr looks like he's trying to stand up.

Pashley is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ferguson jr wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pashley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pashley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ferguson jr's waist but Ferguson jr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pashley off to one side.
Ferguson jr throws a series of punches but Pashley avoids them all with ease.

Ferguson jr gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ferguson jr has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ferguson jr lands a takedown into guard.
Pashley is trying to control the position from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ferguson jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ferguson jr throws a right and a left that both miss.

Ferguson jr darts in and clinches Pashley up against the cage.

Ferguson jr looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Pashley can't get the takedown.

Sean Ferguson jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Pashley.

Ferguson jr ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ferguson jr no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Pashley drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ferguson jr looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ferguson jr looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ferguson jr!

Ferguson jr throws an elbow but Pashley slips to the side and avoids it well.
Ferguson jr landing a few strikes.
Ferguson jr misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Ferguson jr throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Pashley holds on to Ferguson jr's head and controls the position momentarily.
The strikes coming from Ferguson jr are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Ferguson jr sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Pashley is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
You can see the frustration on Pashley's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Ferguson jr decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pashley to his feet.
Pashley misses with a looping right.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Ferguson jr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ferguson jr wants it to stay on the feet.

Pashley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Aaron Pashley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Pashley fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ferguson jr.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ferguson jr wanted to stand there but Pashley had control of the position.

Pashley is pulling down on Ferguson jr's head. It's preventing any offense from Ferguson jr, at least for the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Pashley counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Pashley is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ferguson jr is just riding it out for now. Pashley eventually gives up the hold.

Pashley is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Pashley drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ferguson jr manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pashley has Ferguson jr in his guard.

I would just about give that final round to Aaron Pashley.
I think Pashley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
