The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos tries to close the distance and clinch but Rymy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Rymy is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Dos Santos defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

That has opened up Sol Dos Santos's cut even more.
Rymy is riding his opponent, not letting Dos Santos buck him off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sol Dos Santos's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sol Dos Santos's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
