Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lionel Lowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorgen Xerxes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorgen Xerxes struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 137.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowe misses with a wild combination.
Xerxes keeps the fight on the outside.
Xerxes on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lowe. Lowe obviously looking to wear him down.
Xerxes swats away the attempt to clinch by Lowe.
Xerxes avoids the head kick by Lowe.
Lowe misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lowe tries to clinch there but Xerxes circles away.
Lowe throws a head kick that misses.
Lowe tries to clinch but Xerxes moves out of range.
Lowe checks a low kick from Xerxes.
Xerxes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Xerxes shoots in for a takedown but Lowe shows good takedown defense.
Lowe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Xerxes.
Xerxes shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lowe defends it nicely.
Lionel Lowe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorgen Xerxes.
Xerxes looks gassed!
Lowe lands a left and a right that send Xerxes crashing to the mat, dazed. Lowe thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Xerxes is rocked!
It looks like Jorgen Xerxes has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lowe leaves Xerxes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Xerxes is still on wobbly legs! Can Lowe finish him?
A head kick misses from Lowe.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lowe seems to be stalking Xerxes here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Xerxes drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
