Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abraham Lincoln (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rich Andersen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abraham Lincoln! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Kavanagh and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andersen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lincoln pinned against the cage. Lincoln gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Andersen takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Andersen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lincoln. Andersen is looking to clinch but Lincoln is avoiding it.
Andersen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lincoln sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Andersen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Andersen shoots in and drives through. Lincoln sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rich Andersen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lincoln drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Lincoln controls from within his opponent's guard. Lincoln scoring with punches to the head and body. Lincoln really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Andersen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lincoln looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lincoln must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lincoln postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lincoln controls from within his opponent's guard. Let's hope that Lincoln has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Andersen sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lincoln scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Andersen is trying to control Lincoln's posture but Lincoln avoids it. Lincoln lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lincoln in side control, throwing shots but Andersen defends. Lincoln taking a breather here. Lincoln lands a few punches from side control. Andersen takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Lincoln scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Andersen to see if he's OK. Lincoln content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lincoln works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. A lull in the action here as Lincoln stalls from top position. Lincoln is working Andersen over with some ground and pound from side control. Lincoln cracks Andersen with a big elbow. Lincoln lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Andersen down.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lincoln lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. You can see the frustration on Andersen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Andersen takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Andersen is positioning himself to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Abraham Lincoln dominated that round. That's time! Andersen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lincoln drops Andersen with a straight right hand, right on the button! Lincoln follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
