Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bro Ham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Rameo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fedor Rameo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bro Ham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fedor Rameo!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Ham does no damage.

Rameo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bro Ham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rameo tries for a takedown but Ham sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Ham drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ham could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ham thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Ham drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rameo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ham has Rameo in his guard.

Rameo won't allow Ham to get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rameo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ham swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Rameo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ham is working away from the top position though.

and Ham counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Ham passes to side control.
Ham lands an elbow.
Ham working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ham lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rameo down.

Ham tries to bum rush Rameo with a series of wild strikes but Rameo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rameo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
