The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marduk throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Gary Don Oscar Arum has been cut.
Arum changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Marduk tries to avoid it but Arum manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Marduk to the ground. Marduk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Arum steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marduk.
Arum is trying hard to land a takedown here. Marduk sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Arum is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Marduk.
Craig Marduk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Arum moves in looking to clinch but Marduk pushes him off.
Marduk misses with the combination.
Marduk throws a solid leg kick but Arum takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Marduk.
Arum drops his hands momentarily and Marduk takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gary Don Oscar Arum's cut is getting worse.
Marduk cracks Arum with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Arum looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Marduk finish him?
Arum is rocked!
Marduk dances in with a quick combination. Arum is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Marduk snaps Arum's head back. Arum stumbles backwards against the cage. Marduk steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Arum's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Arum just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Craig Marduk!
