Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hammer Time (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I told my self. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Time uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Torres.
Time slaps away a takedown attempt from Torres, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Time drops his hands momentarily and Torres takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Torres fails with a takedown attempt.
Torres throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Time is defended easily by Torres.
Time pushes Torres up against the cage in a clinch.
Torres tries to pull guard but Time holds him up against the cage and eventually Torres drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paulo Torres. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Torres tries a knee to the head but Time blocks it.
Time ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Time no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Torres wants to stand but Time has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Time manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Torres wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Time.
Time breaks from Torres's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Torres tries to lock up and control but Time gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Time thowing shots but they're missing.
Torres wants to control but Time is having none of it.
Time controlling the pace for now.
Time working for a guillotine from mount but Torres is in no mood to give up.

Torres is desperately trying to improve his position but Time has a good base and remains in mount.
Torres is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Torres keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Torres wants to control but Time is having none of it.
Time throwing strikes but Torres recovers to half guard. A much better position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Torres regains full guard. Nicely done.
Time not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

and Time counters by moving into the clinch.
Time keeps control of Torres as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Torres pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Time gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Time seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Time wants to pass the guard but Torres is keeping the position.

Torres looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Torres postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Time looks a forlorn figure.
Torres wants to finish this one by submission but Time is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Torres.
