Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Augusto Araujo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akseli Hammar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Matti ja Teppo - Näitä Polkuja Tallaan kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Augusto Araujo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Akseli Hammar!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hammar sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Araujo throws out a loose jab but Hammar uses good head movement to avoid it.
Akseli Hammar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hammar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hammar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Araujo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hammar is controlling him.
Hammar has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Araujo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hammar is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Araujo pulls down on the head and he's put Hammar to sleep! This one is all over!
