Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between todd labods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and renzo shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
shamrock doesn't manage to clinch there - labods circles away.
labods throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around shamrock's waist but shamrock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing labods off to one side.
labods tries to clinch there but shamrock circles away.
shamrock scores with a takedown into labods's guard.
labods is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and shamrock defends well.
shamrock not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

shamrock slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
shamrock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

shamrock has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics labods uses from the top position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
labods sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed shamrock's guard.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from labods is defended easily by shamrock.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as shamrock holds on and takes a little breather.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
shamrock has his hands clasped together around labods's back. He's all about the action.

labods seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but shamrock does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

shamrock shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
labods tries to hold on but shamrock pushes him away.

labods is looking to improve his position but shamrock isn't that keen on the idea.

labods jumps guard but shamrock stands there with labods around his waist. labods gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
labods with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
shamrock goes for a takedown in the clinch but labods prevents it.
labods drops down looking for an ankle pick but shamrock pulls his leg out and moves away.
And that's the end of the fight!
todd labods showed his dominance in that final round.
