Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jovani Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and No Chance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jovani Jones had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jovani Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, No Chance! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut there from Jones. Chance uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chance to the mat! Chance manages to get full guard. Jones won't allow Chance to sweep him here. Chance is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Chance looking for a guillotine here but Jones defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Chance looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chance wants to sweep but no luck. Chance looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Chance working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Chance working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Jones has passed into half guard!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jones tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chance knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Chance wants to get back to full guard. Chance actively working from the bottom here. Jones scoring with strikes to the body and head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
No Chance dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Chance shows good takedown defense. Chance closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jones did well to prevent Chance getting side control. Chance seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Chance seems to be working for a kimura but Jones defends the submission attempt. Chance is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily. Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position. Chance is working for a kimura here but Jones manages to reverse the position and he's now in Chance's guard.

Jones escapes and throws Chance's legs to the side, diving into side control! Chance regains half guard. Chance looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Chance tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Chance works his way to full guard. Good work. Chance had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily. Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Chance is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily. Chance is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Jones is tapping! Great win for Chance!
