Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kareem Amuy Jabbar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chain shoots in for a takedown but Jabbar shows good takedown defense.
Jabbar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chain clinches up with Jabbar and pushes him back against the cage.
Chain tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Jabbar on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Chain turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Chain misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Chain misses with the ground and pound.
Jabbar dodges the ground and pound from Chain.
Chain looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Jabbar is avoiding damage well.
Jabbar is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
It looks like Chain is going to stand back up.

Chain is trying to control. Jabbar wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Chain doesn't manage to clinch there - Jabbar circles away.
Jabbar throws a shot from downtown. Chain moves away and avoids it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chain. Jabbar does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jabbar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jabbar throws an overhand right that lands on Chain's shoulder, as Chain tries to avoid the shot.
Jabbar gets a takedown into half guard.
Chain misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Jabbar working over Chain with some ground and pound. Chain looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Jabbar lands with a punch from half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chain trying to control but Jabbar postures up.
Chain is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Jabbar is staying active.
Jabbar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chain knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Chain is pressing down on Jabbar's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Chain fails with an attempt to clinch.

Jabbar shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chain manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Chain is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jabbar distracts Chain with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Jabbar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jabbar cracks Chain with a solid left hand.
Chain looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chain can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jabbar postures up in Chain's guard and throws a big left but Chain blocks it.
Chain is looking for a triangle but Jabbar pushes his legs off easily.
Chain looks gassed!
Chain is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Jabbar frees his head nicely. Oh but Chain has switched to an armbar! Jabbar is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
