Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kratus Pretorian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wayne Parr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Parr's choice of entrance music: Remedy. John Wayne Parr looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kratus Pretorian! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Wayne Parr! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pretorian swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pretorian misses with a double jab.
Parr closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pretorian circles away. Pretorian defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Parr. Pretorian swinging wildly here.

Parr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pretorian swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kratus Pretorian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parr lands with a kick to the temple. Pretorian shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parr dives in and grabs Pretorian's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pretorian pushes down on Parr's head and hops out. Kratus Pretorian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Parr closes the distance and pushes Pretorian back into the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pretorian creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Parr goes for a takedown attempt but Pretorian pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pretorian tries to get out of the position. Parr is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Parr is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pretorian has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pretorian is trying to get back to his feet. Parr is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pretorian knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Pretorian wanted to stand there but Parr had control of the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Wayne Parr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Parr counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Parr. Parr pulls guard effortlessly. Parr manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pretorian manages to get himself to full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pretorian throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Parr moves into the clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Pretorian. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pretorian has Parr pressed against the cage, preventing Parr from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Pretorian tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Parr changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pretorian fights it off and pushes away nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! John Wayne Parr comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Parr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
