Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Sagat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sagat has chosen His own theme music as his entrance music. Victor Sagat will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Victor Sagat! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris connects with a single shot there. Harris thows a body shot but no joy. Harris shoots in for a takedown but Sagat shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Harris moves into the clinch. Sagat looking to throw knees to the head but Harris is blocking nicely.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Sagat. Sagat throws an elbow but it misses.
Harris wants a takedown.
Sagat with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. A battle for position here, against the cage. Knees to the body from Sagat.
Sagat is looking to control Harris's arms but Harris gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sagat has his back to the cage. Harris ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Harris no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Harris keeping moving, preventing Sagat from controlling successfully. Sagat must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Harris pulls Sagat in close to his closed guard and prevents Sagat from doing any damage or advancing position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Harris lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sagat! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harris looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Harris has hold of Sagat's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sagat manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sagat can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Sagat wants to hold on but Harris pushes him away. Harris with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Harris goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sagat turns into him and now he's in Harris's guard.
Harris wants to sweep but no luck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sagat slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Harris dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Harris drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harris looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Harris thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Harris is trying to get an arm triangle but Sagat is defending well. Sagat tries to buck Harris off but Harris is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris advances nicely into full mount. Sagat just holding on. Sagat wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Harris.
Sagat is looking to get to half guard. Harris is trying to control here but Sagat has managed to regain half guard.
Harris is trying to control. Sagat wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sagat keeps control of the position for the meantime. Harris content to control rather than advance. Harris thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sagat's head. Sagat is trying to maintain the position but Harris is very close to passing his half guard. Harris throws a strike but Sagat avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris trying to control but Sagat is working from the bottom. Sagat pulls Harris in to control the position. Harris drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Harris jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Sagat looking to control.
Harris thows a big elbow that misses.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Harris shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Sagat in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Harris can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sagat is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Sagat is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Harris goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sagat turns into him and now he's in Harris's guard.
Sagat trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Harris dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Sagat closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Harris blocks a low kick nicely. Sagat throws a head kick but Harris moves out of range.
Victor Sagat is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Harris scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Harris has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Sagat avoids a series of strikes thrown by Harris.
Sagat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sagat is desperately trying to improve his position but Harris has a good base and remains in mount. Sagat wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Harris.
Harris has control of Sagat's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sagat regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sagat wants to hold on but Harris pushes him away. Harris misses with a head shot. Harris thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Harris scoring with strikes but Sagat is staying in there. Harris goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Sagat is on top in guard.
Sagat trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Harris controls Sagat momentarily but Sagat frees himself. Victor Sagat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Harris avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Paul Harris showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Harris, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
