Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jasper Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danilo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos has chosen CXA - Contos do Crime as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves lands a high kick!
Alves avoids the head kick by Santos.
Alves throws a quick inside leg kick.
Alves moves out of range of the body kick.
Alves fails with a takedown attempt.
Santos looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Santos throws a series of strikes that have Alves backpedaling.
It looks like Jasper Alves has been cut.
Alves swinging wildly here.
Santos lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Alves fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Santos misses with a double jab
and Alves counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Alves will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Santos wants to stand and escape but Alves is having none of it.
Alves really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Alves is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Alves trying to control the position from guard on top but Santos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Santos had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Alves defends it easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Alves controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Santos wants to sweep but no luck.
Santos wants to stand up but Alves is controlling him.
Alves is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Santos wants to stand and escape but Alves is having none of it.

Alves is stalling in the full guard.
Alves pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Santos is keeping the position for now.
Alves wants to control from the top but Santos keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Santos lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Danilo Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Santos throws a nice outside leg kick.

Alves is looking to clinch but Santos is avoiding it.
Alves moves in looking to clinch but Santos pushes him off.
Alves shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Santos defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jasper Alves. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Alves is breathing heavily.
Santos lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Santos throws a head kick that misses.
Alves tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Santos looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Santos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alves circles away quickly and effectively.
Alves takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Santos throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Alves is rocked!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Santos misses with a few strikes there.
Oh Alves is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Santos throws a sloppy head kick
and Alves counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Alves seems to have got his legs back now.
Santos circles away from the clinch attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danilo Santos dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jasper Alves's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Whack! Santos lands a heavy head kick that drops Alves. The ref tackles Santos to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Alves was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Danilo Santos!
