Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Jaundice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Koshechkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koshechkin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Russian National Anthem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Vladimir Koshechkin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Jaundice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vladimir Koshechkin! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koshechkin shoots for a double leg takedown but Jaundice sprawls well. He's pushed Koshechkin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jaundice shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Koshechkin's guard. Koshechkin wants to stand up but Jaundice is controlling him. Koshechkin wants to sweep but no luck. Jaundice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Koshechkin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Koshechkin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jaundice is controlling him. Jaundice thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Koshechkin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jaundice stays in close to Koshechkin's body and controls the position. Jaundice seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Koshechkin for as long as he can get away with.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jaundice slips a jab and a cross from Koshechkin.
Jaundice shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Koshechkin is trying to defend but Jaundice finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Koshechkin is defending against the submission attempts here by Jaundice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Koshechkin tries to get to full guard but Jaundice has control of the leg. Jaundice is trying to work for a kimura but Koshechkin is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jaundice is pressing down on Koshechkin's thigh, looking to free his foot. Koshechkin is holding on for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koshechkin wants to get back to his feet.
Koshechkin wants to improve his position but Jaundice is controlling well.
Koshechkin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jaundice seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Koshechkin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jaundice to score an easy takedown into full guard. Koshechkin tries to strike from the bottom.
Jaundice pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Koshechkin is keeping the position for now. Koshechkin tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jaundice is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jaundice trying to control the position from guard on top but Koshechkin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Koshechkin throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Jaundice drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jaundice jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Koshechkin is on top in guard.
Jaundice is breathing heavily. Koshechkin postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Koshechkin tries to free his leg and advance position but Jaundice is retaining full guard. Koshechkin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jaundice is proving hard to escape from. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Jaundice dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
A nice combination there by Koshechkin.
It looks like Mike Jaundice has been cut. Jaundice wants to clinch up but Koshechkin keeps it at a distance. Koshechkin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jaundice drives through with a takedown into guard. Jaundice prevents Koshechkin from getting back to his feet. Jaundice wants to control from the top but Koshechkin keeps moving. Koshechkin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jaundice regains full guard. Nicely done. Koshechkin content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Koshechkin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Koshechkin is breathing heavily. Koshechkin trying to control but Jaundice is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koshechkin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jaundice has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Koshechkin has managed to get both his arms back between Jaundice's legs - danger averted. Koshechkin throwing strikes but missing. Koshechkin stopping the sweep attempt from Jaundice. Koshechkin trying to move into half guard but instead Jaundice has managed to sweep! Jaundice advances to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koshechkin is looking to escape. Jaundice keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Jaundice works his way into full mount! Jaundice is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Koshechkin can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Jaundice trying to control but he's not successful this time. Koshechkin is trying to reverse the position but instead Jaundice has taken his back - oops!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jaundice is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Koshechkin knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Koshechkin for a finish. Koshechkin is trying to break free.
Koshechkin prevents Jaundice from getting a body triangle. Jaundice is hanging on to Koshechkin's back as he tries to escape.
Koshechkin defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Jaundice's arms.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Koshechkin controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Jaundice working for the choke. Jaundice patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jaundice working for a choke but Koshechkin reverses nicely into Jaundice 's guard. Jaundice keeping full guard, as Koshechkin tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Jaundice dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Mike Jaundice's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Koshechkin!
Jaundice shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Koshechkin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Jaundice preventing the sweep. Koshechkin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jaundice slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Jaundice is trying to get an arm triangle but Koshechkin is defending well. Jaundice tries for a kimura but Koshechkin is defending well. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koshechkin is not content to let Jaundice control the position. Koshechkin wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Jaundice has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Koshechkin's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Koshechkin is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Jaundice!
