Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terrence Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruce Lee!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lee lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Lee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Young's guard.
Lee prevents Young from getting back to his feet.
Lee sitting in guard here, content to control.
Lee's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Young wants to stand up but Lee is controlling him.
Lee is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Lee prevents Young from getting back to his feet.
Young is trying to keep Lee in close.
Lee showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Lee decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Lee closes the distance and pushes Young back into the cage.

Young fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Young tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lee just stands there and leans against the cage.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Young's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A head kick from Lee lands but Young takes it in his stride.

Lee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Young is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lee pulls his head out easily.
Young is trying to maintain the position but Lee is very close to passing his half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Young is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lee shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Lee decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Young is pushing Lee's head away, looking to escape. Lee manages to hold on to the position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Lee misses with a few strikes there.

and Lee counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Lee is taking a breather. Young says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Young wants to control but Lee is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Lee content to control rather than advance.
Lee stops Young from getting back to his feet.

Young looking for submissions off his back.
Young knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lee on the ground.
Lee seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Let's hope that Lee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Lee lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lee controlling his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruce Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Young is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee.

Lee drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bruce Lee.
Young shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Lee counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Young looking for a sweep. Not yet Young, not yet.
Lee postures up and lands a big shot to Young's brow.

Lee stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Lee slips a jab and a cross from Young.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Lee.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

You can see the frustration on Young's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bruce Lee has got the better of the ground game so far.
Lee is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Young is looking to regain half guard here but Lee keeps moving and retains side control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Young wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Lee has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bruce Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
