Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reginald Thornsby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thornsby has chosen "Promenade" by the London Phil Harmonic Orchestra as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a body punch but Thornsby moves out of range.
Thornsby getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Smith takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Smith throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Smith looks to land a left hand but Thornsby moved out of range nicely.
Smith throws a hook but Thornsby blocks it.
Smith stuns Thornsby with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Smith doesn't manage to clinch there - Thornsby circles away.
A big left from Smith misses.
Thornsby lunges at Smith with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Smith's hand.
Smith throws a shot from downtown. Thornsby moves away and avoids it.
Smith takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
Nice body punch from Thornsby.
Thornsby ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A decent looking cross lands there for Thornsby.
Thornsby clinches up against the cage.
Thornsby is looking to break free of the clinch but Smith has double underhooks.
Thornsby breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Smith misses with an uppercut. Thornsby saw that one coming.
Thornsby shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but Thornsby keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thornsby moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Reginald Thornsby has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thornsby moves out of range of the strikes.
Smith swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Thornsby dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kevin Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thornsby lands an overhand right.
Smith tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Thornsby counters with a stiff right hand.
The fighters circling - Smith throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Thornsby swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thornsby tests Smith's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Smith takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Smith walks into a jab.
Smith takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Thornsby is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Smith had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Smith shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thornsby as he jumps to the side.
A cross from Thornsby lands.
Thornsby lands a jab.
Smith misses with a straight left.
Thornsby shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Smith sprawls well. Smith wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Thornsby gets slowly back to his feet.
Smith has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Smith misses with a hook to the body
and Thornsby counters with a stiff right hand.
Thornsby ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Thornsby darts in and clinches Smith up against the cage.
Thornsby wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Smith has him pressed against the cage.
Smith pushes Thornsby back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smith tries to work over Thornsby's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Smith breaks from the clinch.
Smith on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Thornsby scores with a body shot.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Nice uppercut there from Thornsby.

Smith is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Danga de danga de dang - Thornsby scores with a four punch combination!
Smith is rocked!
Thornsby scores with a nice strike.
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith looks up at the clock. Bad move! Thornsby lands a right hand from hell, dropping Smith. Thornsby pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reginald Thornsby!
