Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Training Partner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Wisco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Training Partner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Wisco! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Partner misses with a wild body shot. Wisco misses with a jab, cross combination.
Partner shoots in for a takedown but Wisco shows good takedown defense. Partner closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wisco did well to prevent Partner getting side control. Partner perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Partner has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Wisco looking for submissions off his back. Partner is controlling the pace.
Partner wants to control but Wisco is keeping him busy. Partner not doing much here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Training Partner. Wisco slaps away a takedown attempt from Partner, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Partner is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Partner moves into the clinch successfully.
Partner is pressed up against the ropes. Wisco has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Partner down to the mat. Partner avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. No joy there for Partner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wisco throws a wild body kick that Partner sees coming a mile off. Matt Wisco is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Partner closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wisco to the mat! Wisco manages to get full guard. Wisco being controlled here, momentarily. Wisco manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Wisco breaks from Partner's wrist control and lands an elbow. Partner wants to hold on but Wisco pushes him away. Partner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wisco on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Wisco there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Partner is in all sorts of trouble here.
Partner flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Partner looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Wisco wants to control but Partner is keeping busy. Wisco is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Partner defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Wisco looks gassed! Wisco is not going to allow Partner to sit and survive in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wisco is hanging on to Partner's back as he tries to escape.
Partner is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Wisco gets his way!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Partner is trying to break free.
Wisco is trying to stick to Partner's back but Partner is turning into Wisco. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Wisco's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Partner. Partner prevents Wisco from getting back to his feet. Partner seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Partner looking to pass the guard. Partner is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Training Partner. Partner darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Partner prevents Wisco from improving his position.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Partner missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Partner controlling the action here.
That's six minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Partner's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Training Partner. Wisco throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Partner scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Partner slows the pace down. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Wisco is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Partner takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Partner seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wisco for as long as he can get away with.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Training Partner. Partner looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Partner controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Partner trying to control but Wisco is working from the bottom. Partner not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Training Partner. Wisco displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Partner throws and low kick but Wisco moves out of range easily. Wisco scores with a punch to the head. Partner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Partner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Partner controlling from mount. Wisco is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Wisco sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Training Partner. Partner looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wisco! Partner controlling the position easily from mount. Wisco wants to hold on but Partner pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Training Partner dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Partner shoots for a takedown but Wisco saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Partner shoots in for a double leg but Wisco sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Partner blocks a head kick by Wisco.
Partner closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Partner lands in his opponent's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Partner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Partner trying to control the position from guard on top but Wisco is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wisco working for a triangle but Partner defends it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wisco being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wisco is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Partner passes Wisco's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Partner is controlling the pace.
Training Partner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Training Partner. Wisco throws a right and a left that Partner avoids nicely. Wisco misses with a body kick. Training Partner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Partner shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wisco but Wisco pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Training Partner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Partner shoots for a double leg takedown but Wisco sprawls well. He's pushed Partner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Wisco lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Partner circles away quickly and effectively. A head kick from Wisco lands but Partner takes it in his stride. Partner drives through with a takedown into guard. Wisco utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wisco trying to control the position.
Wisco wants to stand up but Partner is controlling him. Wisco is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Partner is aware though and is defending well. Partner controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Training Partner. Partner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Partner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wisco is fending him off so far but Partner persists. Nope, Wisco circles away and we're back to standing. Wisco lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Partner backs up against the ropes.
Partner takes a jab right on the kisser.
Wisco leaves Partner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Partner tries a head kick but it misses.
Wisco throws a body kick that misses. Partner closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Wisco is looking to break free of the clinch but Partner has double underhooks. Wisco avoiding damage as Partner throws knees to the body.
Wisco wants a takedown.
Partner has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wisco clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Wisco tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Partner looking to control and managing it successfully. Partner prevents Wisco from getting the reversal. Partner sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Partner with good strikes from the mount here! Partner looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's six minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Training Partner just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Partner feints and as Wisco raises his hands in defense, Partner changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Partner controlling from the top position. Partner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wisco is keeping the position for now. Wisco has his foot on Partner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Partner works his way back into a safe position though. Partner looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Wisco looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Training Partner. Partner shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wisco napping and manages to drive through into side control! Wisco is being controlled here.
And that's the end of the fight! Training Partner showed his dominance in that final round. I think Partner has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
