Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Pavlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wagner Camara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Viktor Pavlov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wagner Camara! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pavlov avoids the head kick by Camara.
Camara fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pavlov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Wagner Camara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pavlov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Pavlov content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Pavlov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Pavlov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Camara for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Camara tries to get to full guard but Pavlov has control of the leg. Camara is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pavlov looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Viktor Pavlov. The fight stays on the outside here - Camara looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Camara shoots and misses and Pavlov counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Camara! Camara is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Pavlov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Camara is trying desperately to improve position. Pavlov controlling the position easily from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Camara is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Pavlov avoids the attempt from Camara to control. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pavlov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Camara is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pavlov controlling his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Viktor Pavlov dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Camara gets in close and instigates a clinch. Camara stops a takedown attempt from Pavlov.

Camara pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Camara closes the distance looking to clinch and Pavlov counters with a takedown into side control. Camara tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Pavlov easily slips into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Pavlov controlling from mount. Camara keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Pavlov controlling the pace for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Viktor Pavlov just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Camara throws a right hand that Pavlov ducks under and follows up with a left that Pavlov also avoids with ease. Camara looks to clinch and Pavlov counters with a single leg into guard. Camara didn't expect that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Camara had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pavlov defends it easily. Camara working for a triangle but Pavlov defends it easily.
Pavlov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Camara tries to strike from the bottom.
Pavlov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Viktor Pavlov dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Camara moves into range and clinches up with Pavlov. Pavlov wants a takedown.
Camara's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pavlov circles away from the clinch attempt and Pavlov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Camara won't be happy with that. Pavlov is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Camara's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Viktor Pavlov. Pavlov with a lazy takedown attempt and Camara makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Camara closes the distance and clinches. Camara is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Pavlov is keeping busy. Pavlov is working for takedown but Camara is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Viktor Pavlov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Camara escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Camara with a lazy takedown attempt and Pavlov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Camara's guard. Camara tries to land a sweep but no joy. Camara is looking to stand up but Pavlov isn't so interested in that idea. Pavlov trying to control but Camara is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pavlov preventing the sweep. Pavlov's corner is telling him to maintain position. Pavlov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Viktor Pavlov. Camara moves in looking to clinch but Pavlov pushes him off. Camara instigates a clinch. Pavlov tries for a takedown. No joy.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Camara tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Camara clinches up against the cage. Camara using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Pavlov goes for a takedown attempt but Camara pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Camara misses with a series of wild punches.
Camara fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pavlov, pushing him back against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Viktor Pavlov showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pavlov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
