The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel lands the left hand.

Steel thows a left - swing and a miss!
Doherty throws a sloppy head kick and Steel moves out of range easily.
Steel uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Doherty.
Doherty walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

and Doherty counters with a head kick.
Steel stalks Doherty and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Doherty's face. Doherty staggers backwards, shaken.

Doherty will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Doherty fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steel manages to avoid it.
Steel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Steel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Doherty.
Doherty scores with a hook to the body. Steel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
